A Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank is a specialized reservoir designed to store and supply DEF to diesel engines equipped with selective catalytic reduction systems. It is equipped with a fill port that allows for easy and convenient refilling of DEF. Attributes:• Provides real-time information about the DEF fluid level. • Designed for Contamination Prevention.• Resistant to corrosion.Applications:A Diesel exhaust fluid tank is to store and supply DEF to the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system in diesel-powered vehicles. The DEF tank is an integral part of the SCR system, which is designed to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines. DEF is injected into the exhaust stream, where it reacts with the NOx emissions, converting them into nitrogen and water vapor, which are environmentally benign.
