Дизельный сажевый фильтр Caterpillar 5723838

The Diesel Particulate Filter is an exhaust aftertreatment component used to trap and eliminate harmful soot particles generated during diesel combustion. Installed in the exhaust system, the filter consists of a porous ceramic or metallic honeycomb structure that forces exhaust gases through tiny channels, capturing particulate matter while allowing clean gases to pass. To maintain efficiency, the filter undergoes regeneration cycles where trapped soot is burned off at high temperatures, converting it into carbon dioxide and ash. This helps in the diesel particulate filter to reduce black smoke emissions, improving air quality, and ensuring compliance with emission regulations.Attributes:• Withstand extreme exhaust temperatures.• Helps reduce visible black smoke from exhaust.• Reduces harmful particulate emissions.Applications:The Diesel Particulate Filter is located in the exhaust system of equipment to filter out soot particles before exhaust gases exit the tailpipe, reducing air pollution and contributing to cleaner operation of engines.
