Description:Cat® Insulation are intended primarily for heat and fluid resistant covering for use in Cat machines. May also be used for cushioning, sound absorption, vibration isolation, and thermal insulation. Generally used with a facing and/or backing. These thermal insulation and acoustical foam pieces are integrated into the design of Cat heavy duty equipment to block and absorb heat. It has a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) pre-applied on special release liners designed for quick and easy application of a neat, precise strip of dry adhesive. On the other side it has a aluminum foil with scrim facing for better heat resistant. Cat service parts offer simple repair and replacement of system components in Cat Machines.Application:Cat® Thermal Insulation components are used in engine compartment to reduce machine operation temperature to safe levels based on national and international standards.
