The display interfaces with the object detection sensors that are mounted around the machine. The object detection sensors reduce blind spots and increases perimeter awareness. The system will detect objects as small as an adult human that is in the path of the machine. Recognition of an object is dependent upon the material composition and the geometry of the object. The system may detect an object that is smaller than a standing adult human. Due to the limited number mounting areas for the object detection sensors on the machine, there are gaps in the object detection sensor coverage that would allow the system to miss these smaller objects.
