The wear ring on rod and piston provided the radial support and aligns the cylinder assembly and rod assembly, it prevents the sealing system from excessive loading. The wiper seal prevents the contaminants entering the cylinder. This kit is only available as a complete package however additional service repair parts can also be ordered
