The Limit Switch is a crucial component that serves as a safety and control device in Generator Sets. This sensing device is strategically placed within the terminal box and is designed to detect the movement of specific components. When the components reach a predetermined position or limit, the switch is triggered, either opening or closing electrical circuits accordingly. The limit switch is typically used to regulate the operation of various components, such as doors, panels, or ventilation systems, ensuring that they remain within safe and predefined boundaries during the generator set's operation. By providing this level of control and safety, the limit switch helps prevent potential malfunctions, overloads, or hazards that could arise if these components were to move beyond their designated limits.
