Маховик двигателя Caterpillar 4583400

An Engine Flywheel is a component in internal combustion engines, serving as a mechanical device connected to the engine's crankshaft. The engine flywheel is attached to the engine's crankshaft and rotates as the engine runs. During engine start-up, it interacts with the starter motor's gear, which meshes with the flywheel's ring gear. This engagement initiates the rotation of the engine's crankshaft, starting the engine. The flywheel also helps smooth out the engine's power delivery, reduce vibrations, and maintain consistent engine operation.Attributes:• Ensure a reliable connection.• Dynamic balancing to minimize vibrations.• Ability to withstand the stresses and loads.• Ability to withstand high temperatures generated during engine operation without deformation or damage.• Capacity to handle the engine's torque and rotational forces while maintaining structural integrity.• Ensure even distribution of stored energy and minimize vibrations.Applications:An Engine Flywheel stores rotational energy assists in engine starting by engaging with the starter motor's gear, and provides balance, reducing vibrations and ensuring smooth and consistent engine operation.
