A Clutch Plate is a part of the Power Tak-Off (PTO) Clutch assembly that is used to engage or disengage from the engine. This allows the power from the engine to be transmitted to the Power Takeoff drive. When the clutch is engaged with the drive ring, the clutch plate is squeezed between the friction discs, creating a direct mechanical linkage. It is made of durable material to withstand the high rotational speeds and loads in the clutch assembly.Attributes:• Withstands the vibrations and forces that are generated during operation• Provided with internal involute splines for effective power transmissionApplications:A Clutch Plate is used in the Clutch Housing of the Power Takeoff Drive to transfer the torque or rotational motion along with the help of disc plates in the clutch housing, ensuring an efficient power transmission and proper function of the Power Takeoff clutch.
