The Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) Air Lines Spool Valve is a part of the emission control setup. It is responsible for controlling the routing of blow-by gases, unburned fuel and combustion gases that escape past piston rings, into the intake system for re-combustion rather than venting them into the atmosphere. This spool valve is a cylindrical component housed within a valve body. It moves linearly or rotates to open and close different ports in the CCV air line circuit.Attributes:• Routes crankcase vapors to the air intake.• Prevents venting of pollutants to the environment.• Maintains balanced crankcase pressure.Applications: The Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) Air Lines Spool Valve is found between the crankcase ventilation oil separator and the air intake manifold, mounted on the engine valve cover assembly or along the CCV routing lines.
